DEFINITION OF LEADERSHIP :- Leadership, as a process, shapes the goals of a group or organization, motivates behavior toward the achievement of those goals, and helps define group or organizational culture. It is primarily a process of influence. According to C.I. Bernard – ‘Leadership is the quality of behaviour of the individuals whereby they guide people or their activities in organised efforts’. According to Bernard Keys and Thomas – ‘Leadership is the process of influencing and supporting others to work enthusiastically towards achieving objectives’.
